Chemitac 80N is a thermoreactive adhesive used with Chemitac 11 primer for bonding NR, SBR, BR, CR, NBR, HNBR, IIR, CIIR, BIIR, CSM and EPDM to rigid substrates. It can also be used as a one-coat adhesive for bonding KTL-treated surfaces and textile fibers.

Chemitac 80N is a lead-free product.

TYPICAL PROPERTIES

Non-volatile solids (1h @ 105ºC): 24,5 - 27,5 %
Specific gravity at 25°C: 0,980 - 1,020 g/cm3
Viscosity Brookfield at 25°C: 200 - 300 cps - #2 spindle @ 30 rpm.
Viscosity Ford Cup # 4 at 25°C: 40 - 100 s.
Diluents: Xylene / Toluene
Bonding Temperature Range: 130 - 200ºC
Shelf life: 1 year (unopened container below 25ºC)
Elastomers: Bromobutyl Rubber (BIIR), Butyl Rubber (IIR), Chlorinated Rubber (CR), Chlorobutyl Rubber (CIIR), Ethylene Propylene Rubber Diene (EPDM), Hydrogenated Nitrile Rubber (HNBR), Natural Rubber (NR), Nitrile Rubber (NBR), Polybutadiene Rubber (BR)
