Chemitac 11 is a versatile thermoreactive adhesive that can be used as a primer under other Chemitac covercoat adhesive for bonding NR, SBR, BR, CR, NBR, HNBR, IIR, CIIR, BIIR, CSM and EPDM or as a one-coat adhesive for bonding NBR, ACM and solid PU to rigid substrates.

Chemitac 11 is a lead-free product.

Non-volatile solids (1h @ 105ºC): 24 - 28 %
Specific gravity at 25°C: 0.930 - 0.975 g/cm3
Viscosity Brookfield at 25°C: 70 - 280 cps - #2 spindle @ 30 rpm.
Viscosity Ford Cup # 4 at 25°C: 16 - 28 s
Diluents: MEK / MIBK
Bonding Temperature Range: 130º - 200ºC
Shelf life: 1 year (unopened container below 25ºC).
Dry film density: 1,70 g/cm3 (calculated)
Elastomers: Bromobutyl Rubber (BIIR), Butyl Rubber (IIR), Chlorinated Rubber (CR), Chlorobutyl Rubber (CIIR), Epichlorohydrin Rubber (ECO), Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPM), Ethylene Propylene Rubber Diene (EPDM), Hydrogenated Nitrile Rubber (HNBR), Natural Rubber (NR), Nitrile Carboxylic Rubber (XNBR), Nitrile Rubber (NBR), P.V. Chemitac 6A is a heat reactive adhesive for bonding elastomers as AEM (VAMAC) and FKM with steel, aluminum, aramid, textile fibers and glass by vulcanization process.
