Chemitac 261 is a thermoreactive adhesive used with Chemitac 11 primer for bonding NR, SBR, BR, CR, NBR, HNBR, IIR, CIIR, BIIR, CSM and EPDM to rigid substrates during vulcanization. It can also be used as a one-coat adhesive for bonding textile fibers.

Chemitac 261 is a lead-free product.

Non-volatile solids (1h @ 105ºC): 22,00 - 26,00 %
Specific gravity at 25°C: 0,965 - 1,000 g/cm3
Viscosity Brookfield at 25°C: 200 - 600 cps - #2 spindle @ 30 rpm.
Viscosity Ford Cup # 4 at 25°C: 60 - 140 s.
Diluents: Xylene / Toluene
Bonding Temperature Range: 130º - 200ºC
Shelf life: 1 year (unopened container below 25ºC)
Dry film density: 1,54 g/cm3 (calculated)
