CH 4A

Chemitac 4A is a thermoreactive adhesive for bonding silicone and other peroxide-cured elastomers to rigid substrates. It can also be used as an adhesion promoter for surfaces which cannot be grit blasted, such as engineering ceramics, phosphatized, galvanized, chromatized and stainless steel. 

Chemitac 4A is a heavy metal free product. 

TYPICAL PROPERTIES

  • Non-volatile solids (2h @ 70ºC): 16 - 20 %
  • Specific gravity at 25°C: 0,880 - 0,900 g/cm3
  • Viscosity Brookfield at 25°C: 5 - 20 cps - #2 spindle @ 30 rpm.
  • Viscosity Ford Cup # 4 at 25°C: 10 - 14 s.
  • Diluents: Metanol / Etanol 99ºGL
  • Bonding Temperature Range: 150º - 200ºC
  • Shelf life: 2 years (unopened container below 25ºC)
  • Elastomers: Silicone Rubber (VMQ)
